Eglinton Country Park
Spring, summer, autumn and winter, the beauty of Eglinton Country Park is on your doorstep.
The Country Park was developed around the ancient Eglinton Estate, home for 600 years to the Earls of Eglinton and Winton.
Visit once and you will return, discovering the charm of the changing seasons. Eglinton Country Park gives you the space and freedom to enjoy a wide range of pursuits. There are tranquil country pursuits, walking, riding, fishing on the lochside or simply watching the world go by.
Or there’s a full programme of organised events run by our Countryside Rangers right through the year. Why not come and join us.
North Ayrshire Council Ranger Service
Our Ranger Service provides expert knowledge, information and assistance for all visitors to Eglinton Country Park and other areas of countryside within North Ayrshire. You can join our Rangers on their walks and at various events throughout the year.
The Visitor Centre
Our Visitor Centre has an exhibition on the Earls of Eglinton, local history and information on the 1839 tournament.
A trip to the Park wouldn’t be complete without visiting the Tournament Café offering delicious, fresh, homemade food. Open 7 days a week, during the summer, 10.00am til 4.30pm.
Children won’t be able to resist the brand new state of the art play area for the under 8’s.
They can bounce, swing and slide to their hearts content!
